YouTube
Our website uses plugins from YouTube to integrate and display video content. The provider of the video portal is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When you visit a page with an integrated YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This tells YouTube which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can assign your browsing behaviour directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out beforehand.
YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Details on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. Cookies help us to make our offering more user-friendly, effective and secure.
Some cookies are “session cookies”. Such cookies are deleted automatically at the end of your browser session. Other cookies, by contrast, remain on your device until you delete them yourself. Such cookies help us to recognise you when you return to our website.
With a modern web browser, you can monitor, restrict or prevent the setting of cookies. Many web browsers can be configured to delete cookies automatically when the program is closed. Deactivating cookies may result in limited functionality of our website.
Cookies that are necessary to carry out electronic communication processes or to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. shopping cart) are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and smooth provision of our services. Where other cookies (e.g. for analytics functions) are set, these are dealt with separately in this privacy policy.
Google Analytics
Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider of the web analytics service is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses “cookies”. These are small text files that your web browser stores on your device and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. The server is generally located in the USA.
Google Analytics cookies are set on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As the operator of this website, we have a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise our website and, where applicable, our advertising.
IP Anonymisation
We use Google Analytics in conjunction with the IP anonymisation function. This ensures that Google truncates your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. In exceptional cases, Google may transmit the full IP address to a server in the USA and truncate it there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with further services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent your web browser from setting cookies. However, this may restrict some functions of our website. You can also prevent the collection of data relating to your use of the website, including your IP address, and its subsequent processing by Google. You can do this by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Objection to Data Collection
You can prevent the collection of your data by Google Analytics by selecting only necessary cookies in our cookie banner. Without your consent (“Accept all”), Google Analytics will not be loaded on this website.
Details on the handling of user data by Google Analytics can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en
Data Processing Agreement
In order to fully comply with the statutory data protection requirements, we have concluded a data processing agreement with Google.
Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
Our website may use Google AdWords. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.
AdWords is an online advertising programme. As part of this online advertising programme, we use conversion tracking. After you click on an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that your web browser stores on your device. Google AdWords cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. Using the cookie, Google and we can recognise that you clicked on an advertisement and were redirected to our website.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. Conversion cookies are used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who use conversion tracking. AdWords customers learn how many users clicked on their advertisement and were redirected to pages with a conversion tracking tag. However, AdWords customers do not receive any information that would allow users to be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by deactivating the conversion cookie in your browser's user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
“Conversion cookies” are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise our website and our advertising.
Details on Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en. With a modern web browser, you can monitor, restrict or prevent the setting of cookies. Deactivating cookies may result in limited functionality of our website.
